Privacy and Cookies Policy

Our Privacy Policy defines the rules for the protection of personal data of Users using the AD Logistics website.

The Controller declares that Users’ personal data is processed in accordance with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) of the European Parliament and Council (EU) 2016/679 of April 27, 2016, concerning the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data.

Failure to accept this Privacy Policy allows the use of the Site but prevents the submission of personal data and the provision of services. Withdrawal of consent will not affect the legality of processing based on consent granted before its withdrawal.

What are personal data?

Personal data are data that we collect and process:
Name and surname, email address, phone number, company registration data.

Why do you process my personal data?

User’s personal data is processed for the purpose of:

  • Concluding and performing a contract for the provision of services electronically – in the case where the User uses such services.
  • Responding to messages sent via the form on the Site.
  • Sending information and marketing offers, surveys, invitations, and conducting correspondence via email, SMS, RCS messages, WEBPUSH notifications, phone calls, or traditional mail.
  • Profiling, which helps tailor messages and offers according to the User’s interests.

Providing personal data is voluntary but conditions the conclusion of a contract for the provision of services electronically. The User, by not providing personal data, loses the ability to receive services from the Controller.
Personal data, based on separate consent, can also be used for other purposes. In such cases, these purposes are always specified in the content of the consent.
The User voluntarily decides to receive marketing content. Failure to provide personal data for marketing purposes results in not receiving such content.

What are the legal grounds for processing my personal data?

The legal basis for processing Users’ personal data is:

  • The necessity of processing data to conclude and perform a contract for the provision of services electronically.
  • Legitimate interest of the Controller, consisting of handling correspondence and responding to messages.
  • In cases where the User expresses a desire to receive marketing content related to the Controller – the necessity of processing data to achieve the objectives arising from the legitimate interests pursued by the Controller, i.e., to carry out marketing activities related to the Controller.
  • The Controller does not intend to transfer personal data to a third country.

How long do we store data?

  • Personal data is stored for the period during which the User uses our services. After the User ceases to use the services, the User’s personal data in the scope of: name, surname, email address, phone number, will be stored for another 2 years for the purposes of handling complaints and claims related to the use of these services.
  • Personal data processed to respond to messages sent via the contact form will be stored for a period of 2 years from each received message.

Your user rights

The User has full right to decide to what extent personal data is to be used. The User has the right to:

  • Request access to his/her personal data,
  • their rectification,
  • deletion, or limitation of processing,
  • data portability,
  • the right to object at any time to the processing of the User’s personal data, including profiling and direct marketing,
  • withdrawal of consent to the processing of personal data at any time, if the processing of the User’s personal data is based on this consent; withdrawal of consent does not affect the legality of the processing carried out based on this consent before its withdrawal,
  • filing a complaint with the supervisory authority, i.e., the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection.

The User can withdraw consent to receive marketing content at any time. It is enough to use the mechanisms available with marketing content, e.g., clicking the unsubscribe link or by contacting the Controller.

Who do we share personal data with?

The Controller, by collecting personal data, allows direct access only to authorized Employees, Subcontractors, and Entities providing services on behalf of the Controller (e.g., accounting, legal, auditing, IT, and technical support services) and only to the extent necessary for the implementation of services commissioned by the Controller.

Users’ personal data may be transferred to entities authorized to receive them under applicable law, and in particular to the appropriate judicial or law enforcement authorities.

Your personal data, as a rule, are not transferred outside the EEA (European Economic Area). The transfer of your personal data outside the EEA may, however, occur when it is necessary to implement your service, including situations where the implementation of the service will require the participation of Subcontractors located outside the EEA.

Security

Personal data is stored in a database where technical and organizational measures have been applied to ensure the protection of processed data adequate to the importance of stored personal data in accordance with industry standards and guidelines of relevant offices, especially GDPR.

Cookies

The Site uses cookies, which are small text information stored on your computer, tablet, or smartphone. They are saved by the server on the computer of the person visiting the Site. The Controller gains access to the information contained therein for statistical purposes and to ensure the proper functioning of the Site.

The Controller processes cookies to:

  • Identify the User and log in
  • Customize information and the appearance of the Site to individual preferences
  • Conduct anonymous statistics

The Controller collects IP addresses of visitors to the Site, which are useful during diagnosing technical problems with the server, creating statistical analyses, or verifying the user’s location, both real and internet bots.

The Controller uses the services of third parties in the field of statistics, improvement, and analysis of the Site. Third parties use cookies and are used by such entities as Google, Facebook. Our Privacy Policy does not regulate the rules for the use of cookies by third parties.
